JDK Standard Setup

This procedure requires a high level of skill and expertise in the field of luthiery and includes the following:

• Re-stringing
• Cleaning the instrument with specific compounds
• Oiling and conditioning the fingerboard
• Setting the curvature of the neck enabling strings to freely oscillate
• Setting the action to the right height
• Nut adjustment and polishing
• Saddle adjustment and polishing
• Setting the intonation to the 12th fret
• Buffing and polishing the frets (reduces string breakage)
• Pickup level adjustment
• Electronic flush out
• Tightening of all components
• Lubricating machine heads
• Tune up and go

Please note that the Standard Setup does not include strings and that you take the risk of string breakage by re-using an old set.

Jdk Professional Setup

This procedure requires a high level of skill and expertise in the field of luthiery and includes the following:

• Re-stringing
• Cleaning the instrument with specific compounds
• Oiling and conditioning the fingerboard
• Setting the curvature of the neck enabling strings to freely oscillate
• Setting the action to the right height
• Nut adjustment and polishing
• Saddle adjustment and polishing
• Setting the intonation to the 12th fret
• Fret leveling and profiling (eliminates all fret buzz and choking of notes therefore enabling a lower action)
• Buffing and polishing the frets (reduces string breakage)
• Pickup level adjustment
• Electronic flush out
• Tightening of all components
• Lubricating machine heads
• Tune up and go

Please note that the Professional Setup does not include strings and that you take the risk of string breakage by re-using an old set.
